Unfinished Stair Riser for Remodeling Stairs
Use this stair riser for remodeling stairs without having to tear-down or modify the existing stairs. Stair riser is placed over existing riser after companion tread has been put into place. Companion treads come in a rounded, boxed, or 2x style. One of these styles must be ordered to complete the StareCasing Overlay System.
Remodeling stairs with this system is a 3-step process; measure, cut to size, and attach with polyurethane-based adhesive using a caulk gun. Not having to tear off the existing stairs saves a huge amount of time. Most updating of stairs with this system can be done in a day.
Stair risers come in 36", 42", and 48" wide lengths. This is a gorgeous unfinished solid red oak hardwood which you can paint or stain to match any decorating theme. No nails are used to attach stair riser over the existing riser. Simply apply a polyurethane-based adhesive (construction grade) to attach. Remodeling stairs using the StareCasing Overlay System is a long lasting solution to your dated staircase. There is a 30-year warranty that comes with this system.
