Replacement Stair Treads with Square Nosing

Checkout these replacement stair treads with square nosing. Replacement stair treads are an overlay design; no need to tear out current stairs. Square nosing will fit over 2x treads up to 1 1/2". These replacement stair treads will fit a depth of no more than 11" and are available in sizes; 36", 42", and 48".  You won't find a plywood or lamianted surface. These well made treads are a solid hardwood 3/8" thick white oak.

The Stare Casing Overlay System is a 2-part system. Use the square nosing white oak stair tread with the matching white oak riser to complete each individual step. These replacement stair treads are designed for covering closed-end wood or prefab stairs. A 30-year warranty covers both the square nosing treads and matching risers.

These replacement stair treads are unfinished allowing you to either stain, paint, or do both according to the end design you want to achieve. There is no messy tear down/demolition to clean-up. Overlaying of square nosing stair treads and risers using the Stare Casing System for a standard staircase can usually be done within day. Imagine turning your dated stairs into a stunning solid hardwood  showcase with just one days worth of effort.

  • Measure nosing depth, tread length and depth
  • Trim tread to match measurements
  • Apply construction grade adhesive
