Toe Kick Vents

A toe-kick is a recessed space built into the bottom of a cabinet which sits on the floor. Toe kicks are most common in kitchens, but can be used in any area with cabinets sitting on the floor. In many toe kick areas, there will be a vent for heating/cooling systems. Traditionally the ductwork/hole in the cabinet for the vent will be 2x10, 2x12, 2x14 or 3x10. Toe kick vents are sometimes tricky to find because there is limited space for a faceplate in the toe-kick. Traditionally toe kick areas have a limited height of 3.5 inches (this can vary). Please review each product description for overall faceplate dimensions to make sure that size will fit under your cabinets. These toe kick registers and returns can only be used in the wall and are NOT suitable for use in the floor.
